Biography:

I am a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) with a focus on corrective exercise and strength & endurance training. I worked in advertising before becoming a Personal Trainer but decided to make a career change when it became evident how important fitness had become in my life. Growing up, I was in varsity basketball, soccer, and participated in various races. Since then, my enthusiasm for long distance running has continued to grow and I've taken part in over a dozen half marathons. As my passion for fitness expanded, I realized that I wanted to share it by helping others feel healthier and stronger, as well.

 

The benefits of exercise can be life changing. In this busy world, we forget that incorporating exercise into our lives promotes not only physiological benefits, but psychological benefits as well. Ultimately, the way we feel affects every aspect of our life. Coming from the corporate world, I understand the difficulties of maintaining a healthy work/life balance, which is why my program focuses on targeting total body workouts for more progressive and effective results. I also incorporate dynamic postural assessments so that I can determine muscle imbalances and provide clients relief from past, present and future injuries. My goal is to create a safe and progressive, yet challenging workout program on an individual basis so that my clients can achieve their goals and feel stronger and healthier every day.
