“To teach yoga is a sincere privilege to me and I aim to share my passion and knowledge with anyone willing to learn. I receive inspiration from my teachers, students, environment, and travels which I offer to my classes in the form of uniquely empowering flows. Through asana, pranayama, and intention. I strive to leave students feeling centered and renewed following each class My classes are physically demanding but maintain a lightheartedness to ensure each student feels safe and welcome. I choose to live a yogic lifestyle on and off the mat and allow that choice to flow through me and encourage the power of others.”

Rachel began experimenting with yoga at a young age during her family camping trips. Days would be spent mimicking complex poses without even realizing that all the headstand attempts and arm balances were all yoga. Over time Rachel’s practice became an opportunity to bring awareness inward and helped manage anxiety. Being outdoors with her yoga practice was a safe haven during challenging times and served as a constant reminder to slow down and be present with each moment. Her love for outdoor exploration has played a pivotal role in how she both practices and teaches yoga. She acknowledges the divine connection we hold with everything around us and values compassion towards all beings.
A journey to Denver, Colorado brought her to Axis Yoga where she completed her 200 hour teacher training. She has since been teaching in Maine ever since at fitness centers, studios, and resorts to shed light on yoga for beginners, and challenge more advanced practitioners. Yoga's ability to heal is emphasized in her teaching through building heat and using it to transform and lengthen muscles. Rachel's core passions lie in sharing her love for yoga with anyone willing to learn, and furthering her own understanding through teaching and experimentation.

"I surprised myself last year. I found that I enjoy going to the gym, I enjoy being fit, capable, and strong. I am convinced now of the importance of building strength in our bodies. I feel, actually, totally transformed." | Sally
"I've worked with four other trainers in my life, and no one compares to Eric! He gently pushes me in the best way possible to have a great well-rounded workout. It's never about him, it's about empowering me." | Lauren
