Biography:

Eric Hilton is the founder of Optimal Self Community Health and Wellness Center, a space that offers a wide range of holistic therapies available for the Community, by the Community. Eric is a Certified Fitness Instructor, massage therapist, Reiki master, and combat veteran. Eric’s path to wellness and the healing arts began due to his own personal challenges after serving twelve years in the U.S. Army as a Special Operations Combat Medic.


When his enlistment ended after two tours in Iraq, Eric was on his way to medical school when his combat related injuries forced him to withdraw from classes. He chose not to take medications for his ailments; instead utilizing fitness, energy work, and bodywork to help his body heal from the inside out. Due to his dis-abilities, he learned what his body was capable of and turned his obstacles into opportunities. The holistic path of healing allowed him to achieve his own level of Optimal Health, and this was when he began working with and training people. Eric has brought Optimal Self into existence with the intention to help the people in his community realize their ability to achieve balance and optimal health in their lives in order to reach their true potential.

Eric believes the union of mind-body-spirit therapies is a necessary approach to wellness and seeks to unite the Optimal Self community in changing their lives together!
